How to Write 39B Online in the Summer Session

By now, most of you have likely heard about the new 39B regulations that went into effect on July 1, 2020.

If you’re still deciding whether to graduate with your bachelor’s degree in the summer of 2020 or in the winter of 2021, you may want to reconsider. After all, you’ll have to pay a lot more for your tuition in the summer.

Luckily, there are options to write the exam in the summer. The good news is that you can take the GEBRS exam in the summer and still receive a score that’s accepted by the Common Application. This article will guide you through the steps to take in order to write the exam and qualify for admission to grad school in the summer of 2020.

Consider The Options Available To You

You may be wondering how you can write the GEBRS in the summer. After all, schools tend to close down during the summer, so it’s not likely that an exam will be available for you to take.

Take a look at the various deadlines for the various summer examinations that you’re considering taking. You can use tools like Deadline Guru to easily search and find the published deadlines for each of the assessments that you’re interested in.

For example, if you want to write the GEBRS exam by July 10th, you should start now; however, if you’d like to take a few days more, you can find a July 15th – 20th available slot. Of course, there are always exceptions, such as for military personnel, so it’s best to contact the testing service directly for more information.

GEBRS FAQs

If you’re wondering about the differences between the GEBRs and GEBRS, here’s a short FAQ. The GEBRs are the generic form of the GRE (Graduate English Bachelor of Reading and Writing) and are accepted by just about every grad school in the country. The GEBRS are the specific version for application to Bachelors in Business Administration and Management. Also, the GEBRS has a weight limit of 1.0 (out of 5.0). If you go over the weight limit, you get penalized.

Apply To Several Universities

If you have high school credits and are just scraping by, it’s probably best to choose your Bachelor’s campus based on the location of your intended grad school. For example, if you are applying to an Iowa school and already have two years of college under your belt, it may not be the best idea to go to school in California, especially since you’ll have to re-take the GRE, as well as the TOEFL or IELTS as a new student.

If you’re looking for a more comprehensive list of tips and tricks for the GEBRS, continue reading. Otherwise, this section may seem like a bit of a repeat from the previous section.
